Hello!
Hi, I'm Valerie Dartt, owner of and primary service provider for PV Pets, LLC. After 22 years teaching children on the Autism spectrum, I was ready to make a big change. I knew I wanted to work for myself, and that I wanted to spend my days outdoors. While walking Bella, my collie mix, one fall morning, I decided that was it! I want to play with dogs (really, who doesn't?). I quickly discovered there was a need for professional, reliable pet care in Prairie Village. In 2022, I began PV Pets to help fill that need. Since then, I have fallen in love with all the terrific pets I get to spend time with, met the wonderful families they belong to, and have had the privilege to work with the extraordinary walkers and sitters that help make this possible. I love my job!
Principals
Flexible and Reliable
We'll be there! Any time night or day, we can tailor your service to fit your schedule. If something comes up and your regular walker is unable to make the appointment, we will find a substitute! Our walkers are vetted and guaranteed to be some of the best humans on the planet.
Accountability
Through our Precise Petcare app, you will receive service confirmation prior to the visit, and a Pet Journal following each visit. Included in the journal will be arrival and departure times, photos of your pet, and a note from your pet care provider.
We Care
Your pets are part of your family - we know that! Professional dog walkers can provide one-on-one attention to your furry friend, which can be especially beneficial if your pal requires a little extra care. We believe in consistency of service and relationship building - between you, your pet, and your PV Pets team member!
Detail Oriented
Sometimes the little things really do make a difference! Along with topping off your pet's water bowl and wiping muddy paws, we are happy to grab the mail, bring in a package, or roll in the trash barrels. After overnight stays, you can expect to find your home as clean as you left it (or cleaner!). At a minimum, we will run the vacuum, take out the trash, and wash the sheets.

You are protected in case accidents or incidents should occur to your pet, your home, or your sitter while your pets are in our care.
